Derek Maneval
Business Manager
Derek is the businessman behind Maple Leaf Coffeehouse. He has a desire to see people connect by building meaningful relationships in the community. With a vision to see transformation in Carthage, he was willing to stand behind his wife Robyn as she carries out her dream of a coffeeshop. Derek loves coffees, which he acquired from his wife almost 25 years ago when they first married.
Robyn Maneval
Manager & Decor/Design
Robyn loves hospitality. She is a great cook, and has an eye for interior design and decorating which creates an environment that makes you want to just relax and hang around. Robyn is responsible for overseeing the process of blending the various drinks and making the food (Crepe’s, Panini’s, and Soups). She has an amazing ability to make people feel right at home.
Elizabeth Huron
Barista & Assistant Manager
You will see Elizabeth making drinks and getting into many of the daily functions of the coffee shop. She loves people, and has a passion for encouraging people to become the very best they can be. She will be one of the smiling faces behind the counter when customers walk in to the shop and will be ready to assist them with their order. She will be learning to manage Maple Leaf Coffeehouse in such a way to keep it thriving in the community and on the cutting edge.
Brendon Huron
Public Relations & Event Planning
Brendon, who is married to Elizabeth, will be promoting Maple Leaf Coffeehouse through his relational ability. Brendon has a love for people and values relationships. He has a passion to let everyone know about the mission of Maple Leaf Coffeehouse. He will be responsible for posting events that will be held at the coffeeshop on occasion and for scheduling groups that want to use our private room for meetings. Brendon is from San Antonio, TX.
